The management of the Maasai Mara University (MMARAU) has released the Admission Requirements for the Student of the institution.
The Maasai Mara University, MMARAU Students applying to Undergraduates, Postgraduate, Diploma, Masters programs, etc must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for admission.
MMARAU Admission Requirements
- Year Diploma programmes require a minimum mean grade of C plain at KCSE.
- Year Diploma programmes require a minimum mean grade of C- (minus) at KCSE.
- Year Diploma programmes (Diploma in Primary Education /Diploma in Secondary Education) require a minimum mean grade of C+ at KCSE.
General / Minimum Requirements
Certificate Programmes
- Minimum mean grade of a D+ at KCSE or equivalent
Diploma Programmes
- 1-year Diploma programmes require a minimum mean grade of C plain at KCSE
- 2-year Diploma programmes require a minimum mean grade of C- (minus) at KCSE
- 3-year Diploma programmes (Diploma in Primary Education /Diploma in Secondary Education) require a minimum mean grade of C+ at KCSE
- In addition, applicants must meet the specific subject requirements for each programme
Undergraduate Programmes
- Minimum mean grade of C+ at KCSE OR
- 2 principals and 1 subsidiary pass at “A” level OR
- A Diploma in a relevant field of study from a recognized institution.
- In addition, applicants must meet the specific subject requirements for each programme
Masters Programmes
- Bachelors Degree, Second Class (Upper Division) in a relevant field of study or its equivalent from a recognized University OR
- Bachelors Degree, Second class Honors (Lower Division), with at least two years post qualification work experience OR
- Bachelors Degree with a Pass and a Postgraduate Diploma in a relevant field of study.
PhD Programmes
- Masters degree in a relevant field of study, from a recognized University.
