The St. Joseph University In Tanzania, SJUIT Students applying to Undergraduates, Postgraduate, Diploma, Masters programs, etc. must meet the following requirement in order to be considered for admission.

General / Minimum Requirements
Doctor Of Medicine
Course Duration : 5 years
Entry Requirements:

- Three principal passes in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with minimum entry of 8 points. Whereby one must have at least C grade in Chemistry and Biology and at least D grade in Physics.
- Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with at least five (5) passes including two credit passes in chemistry and biology and a D grade in physics PLUS Diploma in clinical medicine with an average of B+ or GPA of 3.5. OR BSC (lower second) majoring in physics/mathematics, chemistry, biology/zoology.
Bachelor of Civil Engineering
Course Duration : 4 years
Entry Requirements:
Two principal passes in Advanced Mathematics and Physics or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in science cluster. In addition, an applicant must have a principal pass in Physics and a subsidiary in Advanced Mathematics.
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering
Course Duration : 4 years
Entry Requirements:
Two principal passes in Advanced Mathematics and Physics or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Science cluster. In addition, an applicant must have a principal pass in Physics and a subsidiary in Advanced Mathematics.
Bachelor of Electrical Electronics Engineering
Course Duration : 4 years
Entry Requirements:
Two principal passes in Advanced Mathematics and Physics or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in science cluster. In addition, an applicant must have a principal pass in Physics and a subsidiary in Advanced Mathematics.
Bachelor of Electronics & Communication Engineering
Course Duration : 4 years
Entry Requirements:
Two principal passes in Advanced Mathematics and Physics or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Science cluster. In addition, an applicant must have a principal pass in Physics and a subsidiary in Advanced Mathematics.
Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems and Network Engineering
Course Duration : 4 years
Entry Requirements:
Two principal passes in Advanced Mathematics and Physics or Foundation Programme of the OUT with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in Science cluster. In addition, an applicant must have a principal pass in Physics and a subsidiary in Advanced Mathematics.
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
Course Duration : 4 years

Bachelor of Science with Education
Course Duration : 3 years
