The Unisa second semester registration period will commence from 20 June to 18 July 2024/2025. Students may also register their modules for semester 2 during this period if they wish to do so, provided there are no pre-requisite requirements for modules.

The University of South Africa admission into the 2nd-semester intake will be open for registration from 20 June to 18 July 2024/2025.
How to Register for Unisa Second Semester Intake 2024/2025
The steps below are required of every student as it improves chances of acceptance into the 2024/2024 academic session;

STEP 1:
APPLY FOR ADMISSION.

Applicants who plan to enrol for classes at a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college under the Unisa-TVET agreement may apply via the relevant TVET college or online via Unisa.
STEP 2
APPLICATION OUTCOMES.
Unisa will assess your application, which includes the points score system. You may be offered a space for the 2024/2025 academic year based on the following:
If you meet the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice, your minimum academic points score (APS) and the number of spaces available for the qualification for which you have applied.
STEP 3:
REGISTER
If your application was successful, the next step is registration.
Registration for the 2nd semester of the 2024/2024 academic year will be open as soon as announced. You must register for the period for which you have been granted admission.

NOTE: Should you not register for the 2024/2025 academic year, you will need to re-apply for admission during the next application period.
