Unisa Second Semester Intake 2022


The Unisa second semester registration period will commence from 20 June to 18 July 2022. Students may also register their modules for semester 2 during this period if they wish to do so, provided there are no pre-requisite requirements for modules.

NOTE: The University of South Africa Application for the 1st semester is closed.

The University of South  Africa admission into the 2nd-semester intake will be open for registration from 20 June to 18 July 2022.

How to Register for Unisa Second Semester Intake 2022

The steps below are required of every student as it improves chances of acceptance into the 2022/2023 academic session;

Applicants who plan to enrol for classes at a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college under the Unisa-TVET agreement may apply via the relevant TVET college or online via Unisa.



Unisa will assess your application, which includes the points score system. You may be offered a space for the 2022 academic year based on the following:

If you meet the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice, your minimum academic points score (APS) and the number of spaces available for the qualification for which you have applied.

If your application was successful, the next step is registration.

Registration for the 2nd semester of the 2022 academic year will be open as soon as announced. You must register for the period for which you have been granted admission.
