The management of the Kasarani Technical and Vocational College (Kasarani TVC ) has released the Admission Requirements for the Student of the institution.
The Kasarani Technical and Vocational College, Kasarani TVC Students applying to Undergraduates, Postgraduate, Diploma, Masters programs, etc must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for admission.
Kasarani TVC Admission Requirements
- Diploma – KCSE Mean Grade C-(minus) OR Equivalent KNEC Craft Certificate.
- Certificate – KCSE Mean Grade D(plain) OR Equivalent KNEC Artisan Certificate.
- Artisan – KCSE Mean Grade D-(minus).
Doctorate of Philosophy Degree
- A Masters Degree in the relevant field of Specialization
- A Research Concept Paper in the area of Specialization AND
- Meet additional or specific entry requirements as may be specified by the respective Department and or Faculty
Masters Degree
- Second Class Honours Upper Division in the Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University OR
- Second Class Honours Lower Division in the Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with a minimum of two years work experience AND
- Meet additional or specific entry requirements as may be specified by the respective Department and or Faculty
Postgraduate Diplomas
- First Degree with two teaching subjects AND
- Meet additional or specific entry requirements as may be specified by the respective Department and or Faculty
Bachelor’s Degree
- Have the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with an average grade C+ (C plus) OR
- Two (2) Principal passes in. Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education examination or equivalent OR
- Hold a Diploma from an Institution Recognized by Chuka University Academic Board with a Credit pass or higher or an equivalent. Those with a Pass Diploma will be considered if they have at least two years relevant experience after graduation AND
- Meet additional or specific entry requirements as may be specified by the respective Department and or Faculty
Diploma Programmes
- Have the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with an average grade C in KCSE OR
- Hold a certificate from a recognized institution with a Credit pass or higher or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution in the relevant field of specialization, acceptable to the Academic Board. AND
- Meet additional or specific entry requirements as may be specified by the respective Departments and or Faculty
