The management of Lukenya University has released the Admission Requirements for the Student of the institution.
The Lukenya University Students applying to Undergraduates, Postgraduate, Diploma, Masters programs, etc must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for admission.

- KCSE Certificate with a Minimum of Aggregate of C+ (Plus).
General / Minimum Requirements
Certificate Programmes
Admission into any certificate Programme at Lukenya University is KCSE grade D(plain) or its equivalents.
Diploma Programmes
Admission into any diploma Programme at Lukenya University is KCSE mean grade of C- (minus) or its equivalents.
Pre-university Programmes
Candidates who do not qualify for a direct entry may be admitted in the first instance into a sixteen weeks bridging programme that is the pre-university course, on the following conditions.
- KCSE mean score of C plain qualifies for direct admission into sixteen weeks pre-university programme.
Undergraduate Programmes
- K.C.S.E mean grade C+ and above or its equivalent;
- A level with at least two principal passes and one subsidiary;
- G.P.A of 2.5 and above from Pre University;
