The Pwani University, PU Students applying to Undergraduates, Postgraduate, Diploma, Masters programs, etc must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for admission.

Entry requirements for an Undergraduate Degree Programme
Applicants should meet either of the following or equivalent
- Undergraduate Entry Requirements Minimum of Mean grade C+ (plus) in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E) or equivalent qualifications.

Postgraduate Admission Requirement
Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for. Duration of Programme: 1 Academic Year
Entry requirements for a Masters Degree Programme
- A holder of a Bachelors degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours Upper Division or its equivalent in the relevant discipline, from a recognized institution.
Registration Requirements
Mean grade of C+ at KCSE or equivalent and have a minimum grade of C+ in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics or B- in Physical Sciences OR Mean grade C (Plain) at KCSE with credit pass in relevant Diploma from a recognized institution. Mean. Grade of C+ (Plus) at KCSE or its equivalent.
