The management of the Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology (NM–AIST) has released the Admission Requirements for the Student of the institution.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
The Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology, NM–AIST Students applying to Undergraduates, Postgraduate, Diploma, Masters programs, etc. must meet the following requirement in order to be considered for admission.

The Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Degree Programmes are as follows;
General / Minimum Requirements
Master’s Programmes
Master’s by Thesis: The candidate must be a holder of a relevant good Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.5/5.0 or the equivalent, from a recognized Institution.
Master’s by Coursework and Dissertation: The candidate must be a holder of a relevant good Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.0/5.0 or the equivalent, from a recognized Institution.
PhD Programmes
PhD by Thesis: The candidate must possess a relevant good Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.5/5.0 or the equivalent, and a relevant good Master’s degree of at least the equivalent of B+ from a recognized Institution.
PhD by Coursework and Dissertation: The candidate must possess relevant good Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.0/5.0 or equivalent, and a relevant good Master’s degree of at least the equivalent of B+ from recognized Institutions.
Candidates for whom English was not their study language at undergraduate level are required to prove their English proficiency using internationally accepted criteria, e.g., TOEFL.
