Just 8 days until the release of the 2023 Matric results. I know this can be a nerve-wracking time, but remember to stay positive and trust your hard work.
Here are some things you can do to manage your nerves and prepare for the results:
- Distract yourself: Don’t spend all day obsessing over the results. Take some time to do things you enjoy, spend time with loved ones, or get some exercise.
- Practice mindfulness: Try activities like meditation or yoga to help manage stress and anxiety.
- Focus on what you can control: Remember, you’ve already put in the hard work. There’s nothing you can do at this point to change the outcome.
- Prepare for a range of possibilities: Have a plan for what you’ll do regardless of your results. Think about different scenarios and what steps you might take in each case.
- Seek support: Don’t be afraid to talk to someone you trust about how you’re feeling. A friend, family member, or counsellor can offer support and encouragement.
