WSU Application Dates 2024/2025
August 15
- Admission and scholarship applications are open.
October 1
- The FAFSA and WASFA (Washington Application for Financial Aid) are open.
November 15
- Spring application priority date.
January 5-6
- Attend New Coug Orientation for students enrolling spring semester.
January 31
- Summer/fall 2024/2025 admission application priority date for first-year (freshman) students. Students who may be eligible for automatic academic awards, such as DUAA, UAA, and the WUE/Cougar Award should complete their application and provide the required documents by this date. Admission applications will be accepted after this date on a space-available basis.
March – April
- March 15 – Financial aid verification documents deadline (if required).
- April – (for transfer students only) Attend the New Coug Orientation session designed specifically for transfer students. Students who attend this session will register for classes before all other students.
May 1
- We recommend you confirm your admission before May 1. If you’ve been offered admission as a freshman or transfer student, pay your $200 non-refundable tuition deposit to confirm your space at the University. You can confirm your admission after this date on a space-available basis.
- Fraternity and sorority recruitment information goes out. If you’ve been accepted to the University and have not received this information by the end of May, contact the Panhellenic Council or Interfraternity Council for details.
It is important that anticipating candidates applies early, otherwise know that late applications are open only if there are vacancies, It would be quite unfortunate that after waiting for such a long time, you’ll just let it slide out.
