About Urban Development Corporation
Urban Development Corporation (UDCORP) was primarily set up for the purposes of encouraging and assisting Local Authorities to plan and co-ordinate urban growth and development, as well as to improve the standards of living of the general populace of Zimbabwe through the development of proper housing and related infrastructure. It also offers Audit Services to the Local Authorities in Zimbabwe.
In April 2019 , UDCORP joined the rest of the corporate world in solidarity with its fellow countrymen in Chipinge and Chimanimani. The corporation extended its philanthropic arm to the victims of the devastating Cyclone Idai by donations of 400 sets of kitchen utensils to Chipinge and Chimanimani Communities.
The donations were handed over to the Deputy Minister of Local Government Public Works and National Housing Cde Jennifer Mhlanga by the Head of Management Committee Mr Hashmon Matemera at a handover ceremony witnessed by UDCORP Board Members, Senior Management and Staff.
