NOTE: Tshwane University of Technology has opened a small window of opportunity for late applications to selected programmes that still have available spaces from today, till the closing date
No applications will be accepted after then.

How to Register for TUT Second Semester Intake 2024/2025
The steps below are required of every student as it improves chances of acceptance into the 2024 academic session;
STEP 1
With the internet equipped with a rich connection, navigate to the TUT Online Application Portal.
Choose a qualification.
STEP 2
Get an application form.
STEP 3
Gather your documents or upload further/outstanding documents
STEP 4
Fill and complete all the necessary details in full, and ignore the section where a school principal needs to sign.
Please know that on receipt of the application form, it will be processed and forwarded to the relevant academic department for approval and authorization.
After the approval by the academic department, the International Office will issue the student with an official Acceptance Letter and a Study Permit Letter.
Use the two letters to apply for a study permit at the nearest South African high commissioner or representative in your home country.

Pay the application fee

Send in your form and documents
STEP 7
Follow-up and get your admission status
After this step, it means that you are approaching a successful application process, keep following instructions and do the right thing.

If you meet the academic admission requirements for your qualification of choice, your minimum academic points score (APS) and the number of spaces available for the qualification for which you have applied.
NOTE: Should you not register for the 2024/2025 academic year, you will need to re-apply for admission during the next application period.
